Age Limit: Candidates age should not exceed 26 years for Statistical Investigator Gr. II post, 20 years to 27 years for Assistant/Sub Inspector in CBI post and 18 years to 27 years for all remaining posts.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Bachelors Degree with Economics/Statistics/Maths for Compiler & Statistical Investigator Gr .II post and any Degree from recognized University for all other posts.
Application Fee: Candidates need to pay the application fee of Rs. 100/-. SC/ST/PWD/Women/EXSM is exempted from payment of fee. Candidates applying through offline can pay the amount by means of “Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)”only at Departmental Post offices and should be pasted on the application form and got cancelled at the Counter of Post Office of issue with the date stamp. Candidates applying through online can be paid through SBI Challan or online account with SBI.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of two Tiers of Written test followed by Computer Proficiency Test, Skill test, Interview.
How to apply: Interested and eligible Candidates can apply through offline /online mode. For online mode candidates can apply through the website www.ssc.nic.in and for offline mode candidates can apply in the prescribed application format by sending the filled in application along with all relevant documents and CRPF stamp on the application and send it to the concerned Regional / Sub-Regional Offices of the Commission mentioned in the notification.
How To Apply Online For SSC CGL:
1. Eligible and interested candidates would be required to apply online through SSC website.
2. Candidates can log on to the website www.ssc.nic.in and www.ssconline2.gov.in
3. Online Application form contains two parts. Part I & Part II
4. Candidates can click on the link ‘Part I Registration’ and fill all the details in the online application form.
Candidate must enter his/her name as it appears in the educational certificate of Matriculation or equivalent examination.
5. After filling all the details click on ‘I Agree’ button. A page with registration no will be generated.
6. After applying online, candidate is required to download the system generated Registration Slipwith unique registration number and other essential details and retain a copy of the same.
7. Click on Part-II registration and upload photo & signature as mentioned in the form and enter the payment details.
8. After submitting all the details click on submit button.
9. Candidates will receive emails after completion of Part II Registration.
10. After applying online, candidate is required to download the system generated Registration Slipwith unique registration number and other essential details and retain a copy of email & Challan must be retained for any further assistance.
General Instructions For Filling Up SS CGL :
1. Only Indian National need apply.The total number of posts in each specialisation may be increased or decreased based on actual requirement at the time of recruitment at the discretion of Management.
2. Before applying for the post the candidate should read complete advertisement carefully and ensure that he/she fulfils the eligibility criteria and norms as specified.
3. Mere fulfilling of the eligibility criteria does not entitle the candidates to be called for written test and/or Interview.
4. In order to restrict the number of candidates to be called for written test and/or Interview the Management reserves the right to raise the eligibility standards.
5. Management reserves the right not to fill some/any/all the positions so advertised without assigning any reason thereof.
6. In case of non-availability or insufficient number of eligible/suitable women candidate(s) belonging to any particular category, the vacancies or remaining vacancies reserved for women candidates (s) of that category shall be filled up by male candidate(s) of the same category.
7. The CGPA/GPA/OGPA or letter grade awarded may be converted into percentage of marks to be indicated in application form.
8. Only SC/ST candidates called for written test will be reimbursed journey expenses (to and fro) by 2nd Class Railway/Bus by the shortest route on production of copy of ticket of one way.
9. The candidate finally selected needs to be medically fit as per company’s medical standard.The queries under RTI are/will be entertained only upto 6 months from the date of publication of final results on our website.
10. While applying online, the candidate has to exercise his/her choice of one examination centre only and no request for change of examination centre will be entertained.
11. Furnishing of wrong/incomplete/false information in the online application will lead to disqualification of the candidate and SSC will not be responsible for any of the consequences of furnishing such wrong/false/incomplete information.
12. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidate.
