 Power Grid Corporation of India Limited , Northern Region Transmission System-II has issued notification inviting applications from Indian citizens. Powergrid is looking for young and dynamic candidates for filling up vacancies in its project of laying Optical Fiber under National Optic Fiber Network (NOFN) project for connecting Gram Panchayats in the state of Himachal Pradesh.  Eligible and Interested candidates can apply in prescribed application formaton or  before 25 January 2013. Educational Qualifications : 
(i) B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc (Engg.) / AMIE in Electronics and Communication from recognized university / Institute with minimum 55% marks for General and OBC candidates for Field Engineer posts
(ii) Diploma in Electronics and Communication from recognized technical board / Institute with minimum 55% marks for General and OBC (NCL) and pass marks for SC / PWD / PH category

Age Limit : (As on 15 January 2013):
(i) 29 years for General category
(ii) 32 years for OBC (NCL) category
(iii) 34 years for SC Category

Selection Procedure : Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of Personal Interview of the eligible candidates and followed by Screening Test.

Application Fee : Rs. 200/- for Field Engineer and Rs. 100/- for Field Supervisor in the form of Demand Draft in favour of "Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd." payable at Jammu. No fee required for SC / PWD / Ex-Servicemen candidates.
